“Mrs. A” brings a vast array of experience and talent to Cooperative Theatre. She founded Cooperative Theatre for Children in 1979 to afford children the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive theatrical experience. Musical Director: Carole Davidson "Mrs. D." has been the music director for the Cooperative Theatre from the beginning. Carole has taught the music and she and her husband, Doug, have directed the orchestras for the productions. Doug has written the original scores for WCT's productions of Sleeping Beauty and Hansel and Gretel. Choreographer: Judy Whitney, with Gail LaRocca Judy Whitney, long time Winchester Aerobics instructor, became involved in WCT in 2003 when her son Christopher joined the program. She has been choreographing for the past four years and enjoys teaching dance to these young theatre students. Gail LaRocca teams up with her Winchester Aerobics partner, Judy Whitney, for a second year. An agent for performer-educators, Gail gets to put into movement what she has watched on school stages for over 25 years. Assisant to the Director: Peggy Galvin Peggy Galvin has been involved with WCT since 1996 when her older daughter began in the program. She has served in a number of roles, currently is Mrs. A's assistant and head of the back stage crew (the great "lost mothers"). |
